Mijas Pueblo to get new hotel in historic centre

A small aparthotel is to be opened in the centre of Mijas Pueblo. According to planning councillor, Andrés Ruiz, a house dating from 1840 on the Plaza de la Constitución, in the heart of the village, will be redeveloped at a cost of 354,000 ... euros. It will include four apartments, a private residence and two shops. The news comes alongside reports of good hotel occupancy in Mijas. Mijas town hall has announced that it has provisionally reserved land in the El Ensanche de la Cala area for a hypothetical coastal train.
