Charity launches annual Christmas present appeal in Manilva

A Manilva-based charity has launched its annual festive scheme to give local underprivileged children presents this Christmas. The St George Charity is hoping to deliver gifts to more than 500 children from Manilva and Casares as well as those who ... approaching it is important that we turn our thoughts to those less fortunate than ourselves. "The gift bags are delivered to social services and the social kitchen where the parents can collect them and give them to their children on Three Kings. "This ... is very important as the charity feels that the only thing sadder than a child receiving no gifts at Christmas time is a parent being unable to give a gift!"
