The drugs and organised crime department of the Costa del Sol's National Police force (Udyco) have revealed that at the beginning of December one of the province's biggest cocaine hauls was uncovered in a warehouse in Vélez-Málaga. Almost a tonne ... one of the largest in the country. Police sources have said that the value of the cocaine is approximately 60 million euros, although its street value, once cut and mixed with other substances, could be anything up 160 million euros. The biggest haul ... was seized from a warehouse in the Santa Teresa industrial estate in Malaga city in October. In an operation named 'Bananero', 6.3 tonnes of cocaine were found in a shipment of bananas which had entered Europe via Portugal.
