Friends get together to clean up English cemetery in Malaga

A group of friends of the English Cemetery and members of the congregation of St George's joined forces last Saturday morning for a Working Party, aimed at sprucing up the area around the church and removing an accumulation of leaves and other ... debris. While some carted away wheelbarrows full of old flower pots from behind the church, others pruned an overgrown oleander, weeded and piled autumn leaves into sacks, or cleaned up some of the gravestones. Police recover chalices and cured ham stolen from Marbella church

Three men have been arrested in connection with the theft of three holy chalices, valued at 1,500 euros, and four cured hams from the El Calvario church in Marbella.
