Vélez man runs 170-kilometre marathon for Indian charity

Vélez-Málaga runner Christyan de la Cruz completed a 170-kilometre ultramarathon in India at the end of January to raise money for villages in the south of the country. The 35-year-old sports fan was among 250 people to take part in the event ... organised by the Vicente Ferrer foundation. They raised a total of 185,000 euros. The money will be used to build homes in villages in the Srisailam region of India.
