Government denies claims that it will buy water from Spain

The Gibraltar government has announced that it has no plans to buy water from the Mancomunidad de Municipios del Campo de Gibraltar, following reports in the Spanish press that Gibraltar was considering a contract of this type. Electronic ID cards now cost £25

From January 1st, a new electronic ID card in Gibraltar will cost £25 and renewals or changes of name or address will cost £10. This is the first time a charge has been made for a new electronic ID card since they came into force in July 2015.
