Axarquía hospital introduces animal-assisted therapy for children

The Swedish NGO helping to find new homes for dozens of dogs abandoned in Malaga

Dozens of abandoned dogs in Malaga have found a new home in Sweden this year thanks to the work of ADA-HUNDAR. The NGO, whose name translates to 'Ada dogs', aims to give dogs "a second chance". ADA-HUNDAR works in collaboration with numerous ... a home locally (mainly hunting dogs or potentially dangerous breeds) are in high demand in Nordic countries. These include pitbulls and podencos. In spite of pandemic restrictions, until October, 45 dogs have been transported to their new homes.

Eyes on four legs to walk the city streets
