  • Gibraltar museum's latest reconstruction has been called Yantar after a poll on Twitter

Gibraltar Museum's latest reconstruction, the head of a Bronze Age man from the Russian steppe whose cranium was found in Bray's Cave, is to be named Yantar, which means amber in Russian.

The name was chosen from a shortlist of five after local people sent in numerous suggestions.

The poll was put on the Museum's Twitter account to decide the winner.

He had been buried with an amber bead.
