From the end of this month there will be a scheduled helicopter service between Malaga and Gibraltar on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, operated by Spanish company Hélity which already runs a helicopter connection from Malaga to Ceuta and Algeciras.

The helicopter, a twin-engined Agusta Westland 139, seats 15 passengers and the flight time will be 25 minutes. The flights will leave Malaga at 9am, and depart from Gibraltar for the return trip at 9.35am.

The flights on this new service can be booked online via the Hélity website, and current prices per person appear to be just under 140¤ for a one-way trip.
