HMS Echo arrived in Gibraltar on Tuesday, and was scheduled to take part in activities in support of Maritime Week.

Plymouth-based Echo is the first of two multi-role hydrographic survery ships commissioned by the Royal Navy.

The ship was built in Devon in 2002.
