Outline planning permission has now been granted for a 19-storey mixed use development at Devil's Tongue Queensway, on a site which once formed part of the port.
The design of the building has had to be changed from the initial plans to reduce its size, because of its proximity to the City Wall, and the main entrance and approach have been moved to the north side. The height of the building was planned in line with others which already exist in Marina Bay and Ocean Village.
The new development will contain a variety of apartments on the upper floors, ranging from one to four bedrooms, and a five-bedroomed duplex. There will also be shops, offices and parking facilities.
