Britain's Minister for the Armed Forces, Mark Lancaster, began a two-day familiarisation visit to Gibraltar on Wednesday, which included meetings with chief minister Fabian Picardo, deputy governor Nick Pyle and services personnel stationed on the Rock.

The purpose of his visit was to discuss matters relating to Brexit and the role of the UK military in Gibraltar.
