Queues to cross border again this week

  • The delays did not reach the levels of 2013, when drivers had to queue for several hours, many people were held up for over 45 minutes

There were lengthy queues for drivers crossing the border from Gibraltar to Spain on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons, as Spanish frontier guards appeared to be carefully checking cars.

The six traffic lanes approaching the border quickly became full and there were tailbacks into the town at times.

Although the delays did not reach the levels of 2013, when drivers had to queue for several hours, many people were held up for over 45 minutes.
