Footballers to compete in Summer Games

Eight footballers will travel to Italy to play in a five-a-side competition

A team of eight footballers from Special Olympics Gibraltar will play in a five-a-side competition in La Spezia in Italy next week.

The competition is part of the Special Olympics National Summer Games. The athletes will be joined in northern Italy by head coach Mario Prescott, assistant coaches Jeremy Baldachino and Tyrone Davis and by head of delegation Caine Sanchez.
