Students considering the option of taking a degree course at a British university will find all the information they need under one roof in Malaga next week.
Representatives from around 30 universities will be taking part in the Study UK fair organised by the British Council, providing details of courses available, fees and student life in the UK. Information will be available for students, their families and school careers advisers.
Organisers point out that one in three students from Spain who studies in the UK go to universities that are included in the world top 100. Imperial College London, University College London, University of Edinburgh and University of Manchester are all popular choices for young people from this country.
The quality-price balance offered by British universities is still valid today, says the British Council, regardless of when or how the UK leaves the EU. The UK government has promised to maintain fees and access to public funding throughout their studies for EU citizens who start an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course before the end of 2020, explain the organisers.
The fair, which includes a programme of talks by specialists, takes place on Tuesday 15 October from 10am at the Hotel NH Málaga. Similar events are also held in Madrid and Barcelona.
