Crowds welcome Christmas
The Christmas lights in malaga's Calle Larios and Plaza de la Constitución. S. S:
A trip to see the Christmas lights in Malaga and other towns and cities is on many people's list of things to do on this long holiday weekend to celebrate the Constitution on 6th and the Immaculate Conception on 8th December.
Thousands of people have flocked this week to see Marbella and San Pedro all wrapped up in their Christmas best, while children have been sending their letters to Father Christmas via the post boxes installed in the Alameda, (where ‘Papa Noel’ as he is known locally has acquired his own home for the duration), and in San Pedro’s Plaza de la Iglesia.
Children who put their trust in the Three Kings to bring gifts on January 6th will be able to post their letters to Their Majesties in the same places, from December 27th through to January 5th.
