The Human Body Exhibition, now open in Marbella has already been shown in over 60 locations worldwide and is considered one of the most popular science exhibitions in the world. It is thought that over 20 million people have visited ‘The Human Body Exhibition’ and its popularity is probably due to its unusual subject. The exhibition shows real human bodies dissected in order to reveal different bodily systems.
The 200 human bodies have been preserved due to a process of rubberization. Rubberization replaces water and fat from cells of the body by the use of various types of plastic. Most of the bodies come from Asia.
The exhibition will remain open until the 15th September at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Marbella. Prices for the exhibition are 16 euros for adults and 12 euros for those under 12 or over 65 years old and for students. Ticket prices increase by two euros at weekends and public holidays. A family ticket (including Entrance for two adults and two children) is available for 40 euros (46 at weekends and holidays).
The exhibit is open at 10 a.m. till 10.30 p.m. and last Entrance is at 9.30 p.m.
