Delta Airlines and Air France have renewed their commitment to the Costa del Sol by offering a non-stop service six times a week between Malaga and New York. They already claimed to offer the best connections with the U.S. via Paris, and say that the non-stop flight will enable travellers to connect easily with other U.S. destinations. Demand is highest, they say, for Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orlando and Boston.
Delta Airlines and Air France have also added Valencia to the list of airports they serve, inaugurating flights to New York four times a week during the summer months.
Flights from Malaga will depart at 11.35, arriving in New York-JFK at 14.15. The return flight leavse at 19.10, landing in Malaga the following morning at 9. This summer the Delta flights feature a new ‘Economy Comfort’ category with more leg room for passengers and seats which recline 50 per cent more than standard seats. The route is operated by a Boeing 757-200.
