COKE. Spain comes out on top for product quality. / AGENCIES
According to the Coca-Cola Company the Spain-Portugal division of the multinational produces the company’s best product.
Coca-Cola has always maintained that the ‘secret’ recipe used to prepare the world’s most popular beverage is the same everywhere, which should mean that a can of Coke bought in Beijing tastes exactly the same as one bought in Spain, however, there are other elements which influence the quality of the end product, we are told.
Every year the company evaluates factors such as the storage, handling and transport of the product to determine the level of quality, and this year’s results put Spain in first place. The country has always come near the top of the list, but this is the first time Spain has overtaken Japan, which has held on to the first place position for the last several years.
