In a friendly match against Macedonia in Macedonia's capital Skopje, Spain clawed back in the second half to get a win after going into half down 2-0 down.

Goals one after the other from Fernando Torres (min 52), Piqué (min 54) and Riera (min 56) brought the Spanish team back to looking like their European Champions status.

Before the match the players donned their red shirts all bearing number 21, the number of the Espanyol player, Dani Jarque, who died of heart failure Saturday in Italy. The tribute was completed with the Spanish anthem and a minute's silence in Dani's memory.

The Macedonian Football Federation is also celebrating its 100th anniversary.
