Jehuda Jakubowicz has been a practitioner of dental implant surgery for more than 30 years. Originally from Germany, he has recently moved to Marbella and established the Clinica Odontológica Innovativa Marbella, where he will make use of his considerable experience, along with an impressive array of the latest technology, to improve the dental health of his clients.
Your professional career has spanned many years, hasn’t it?
I have trained and worked for 30 years in Germany, always in the same field. I have also travelled to many countries giving lectures on implant work and advising on dental surgery techniques. I came to Marbella with the intention of retiring and enjoying the sun, but I found it difficult to stop working, so I became involved in this new venture.
What makes this clinic different?
We have exceptional, state of the art equipment, all of which is officially tested and approved. We have the equipment to carry out ultrasonic microsurgery using different frequencies depending on the type of material we are operating on. Also we use three dimensional radiography to give a clear picture of the clients’ mouth, jaw and teeth, which means we can make very precise diagnoses and recommend the right corrective treatment.
I imagine that information technology is very important here?
Yes, it plays an important and growing part of our work. We have developed new software which means we are now able to offer other orthodontists the opportunity to benefit from our diagnostic technology online.
