In a recent article in SUR in English by Simon Hill he praised the virtues of Oleanders.
I thought that I would check to see whether these plants were suitable for English conditions and was amazed to find that Oleander (Nerium Oleander) Adelfa is a very dangerous poisonous plant. (Source www.wildsideholidays.com/natural/plantlife/89-shrubs/53-neriu) This website article states that virtually every part of the shrub is highly toxic and eating it can, in fact, kill animals and small children!
Perhaps Simon Hill should expand on his previous article in answer to this apparent danger.
