The two legendary Spanish singers will perform at Sohail castle

Legendary Spanish singer Raphael opens the XIV Ciudad de Fuengirola festival tonight at Sohail castle. He will be performing a selection of past hits and new songs from his latest album ‘50 años después’ (fifty years on), which takes a look back through his 50 year career. The following Friday (July 10th), Catalan singer Joan Manuel Serrat brings his ‘100 x 100 Serrat’ tour to Fuengirola, accompanied by pianist Ricard Miralles.
This is just one of several musical events scheduled to take place at Sohail castle this summer. Others include the ‘International House Festival’ on July 18th and ‘Fuengirola Pop Weekend’ on August 8th. On August 7th, Basque group La Oreja de Van Gogh will be in the town. The ‘Andalucía canta’ (Andalucía sings) festival brings the summer music programme to an end.
