The club held a dinner and raffle at a Marbella restaurant.
The president of the Marbella Rotary Club, Patrick Op de Beeck, presented Rocío Torres Mancera, PR and Fundraising Manager from Cudeca, with a cheque for the value of 4,000 euros last week.
This generous donation was raised at a dinner and raffle held by the Marbella Rotary Club on 15th May at “La Reserva de Noelia” restaurant in Marbella.
The money will help the hospice to continue offering invaluable support to patients suffering from advanced cancer within the province of Malaga. The In-Patient Unit, where patients in the most delicate of conditions are cared for, is still causing a financial concern for Cudeca. The response to the centre's call for help in 2008 was overwhelming, but the team still face a serious deficit.
