See Village People at Tivoli World in Benalmádena
The group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2008.
US pop group Village People will be performing one of their two concerts in Spain this summer at Tivoli World in Benalmádena on July 17th at 10.30 p.m. They will play Santurce (Vizcaya) on the 15th.

The group released a string of disco hits in the late 1970s and early 1980s such as 'YMCA', 'Macho Man', and 'In the Navy', and have sold around 85 million albums and singles. This year they celebrate 30 years in the industry.

Two of the original group members form the current line-up: Alex Briley (the military man) and David Hood (the construction worker). Ray Simpson (the policeman since 1979), Jeff Olson (the cowboy since 1980), Eric Anzalone (who took up the role of the police officer in 1995) and Angel Morales (Red Indian) complete the rest of the line-up.

Tickets for the concert are on sale at Tivoli, FNAC and Carrefour. They can also be purchased by calling Ticketmaster on 902 150 025 (www.ticketmaster.es)
