L.I.V.E. charity looking for volunteer drivers and helpers
Brian Marsh delivers donated items to La Ciudad de los Niños.
L.I.V.E., the charity supporting the children’s home in Malaga, is looking for volunteer drivers and helpers. Founded in 2004, L.I.V.E., which stands for ‘Los Internacionales viven en España’, has raised funds and organised Christmas parties and days out for the children, but only has a committee of five members and an increasing profile. The team needs help to continue carrying out work for the home. The children’s home ‘La Ciudad de Los Niños’ is situated on the outskirts of Malaga and is flanked by shanty towns. It is home to children taken into care and is also a haven for the street children of the nearby shanty towns, or ‘chabolas’ as they are known in Spanish. The charity is looking for people with cars who are willing to give a couple of hours each month to help out. Volunteers willing to act as coordinators for items donated are also needed. If you would like to help the Malaga Children’s Home, contact Brian Marsh on 620 791 441.
