Two robbers who had carried out a number of thefts in Fuengirola pushed their luck a little too far when they stole money from the coffee machine in the police station. Police had arrested them the previous week, but they had not been remanded in custody. The pair returned to the police station to collect their car, which had been impounded, but were told that it was part of the investigation and could not be released. Not wanting to leave empty handed they broke into the coffee machine in the waiting area. Police arrested the pair again the following day as they attempted to break into a pub in the town.
