Tindersticks prove their strength as a group with 'The Hungry Saw'
Lead singer Stuart Staples.
British rock group Tindersticks brought their Spanish tour to an end with a concert at Malaga's Cervantes Theatre last night. The group from Nottingham in England presented songs from their latest album 'The Hungry Saw', released in 2008 after the group took a five-year break from recording with each other.
Last night's concert showed that Tindersticks are still very much alive as a group despite lead singer Stuart Staples' recent digressions into solo work. 'The Hungry Saw' is the group's seventh studio album and is full of the group's signature melancholic songs, which were delivered in Staple's own Leonard Cohen style and brought Tindersticks fame in the 90s.
