Nerja Bridge Club recently presented 366 euros to the charity L.I.V.E. to benefit the residents of the Malaga Childrens' Home, as a result of an afternoon attended by 50 bridge players at the end of January.
The Club will be busy in March as they will be hosting the 5th Annual Teams Match against a combined Almuñécar / La Herradura team on Saturday the 7th at 2.30 p.m., and then the Charity Simultaneous Pairs competition in aid of Action Medical Research will take place on Friday the 13th also at 2.30 p.m. All bridge players are welcome, and EBU Master Points will be awarded.
Regular duplicate sessions take place on Mondays at 7 p.m. and Wednesdays and Fridays at 2.30 p.m. Visitors are welcome and partners can be arranged by calling Nan on 95 252 5425 or Colin on 617 534 342. Lessons for beginners and improvers can be arranged by calling Sue on 626 436 286. The Club meets in its own premises at Avda Castilla Pérez,1 (blue double doors next to AutoEscuelas Nerja).
