St. Joseph's R.C. Chapel in Las Rampas, Fuengirola will hold a week-long Mission from February 8th to 15th. It will be conducted by widely known Irish Redemptorist priest, Fr. Brendan Keane.
The Mission represents a revival - after five years - of a long held tradition in the Chapel which has been in existence for over 25 years and has currently 150 members of Irish, English, Scottish and Welsh backgounds, and also a smattering of Spanish Massgoers. St. Joseph´s is the only Catholic Chapel on the Costa del Sol where daily Mass in English is celebrated.

Originally, the Chapel was ministered by a different priest, sent out monthly from Ireland, but for the past five years, it has a permanent minister, Fr. Jarlath Heneghan. From Knock in Co. Mayo, Fr. Jay, as he is known, had retired after spending 45 years in the United States and was spending a holiday in the area where he attended Mass in St. Joseph's. The rest is history!
