The process of approving the new urban development plan (PGOU) is still not over. After its initial green light from the Town Hall it was put on public display for a second period.
Now more than 7,000 new objections have been submitted and Mayor Ángeles Muñoz has promised that these will be answered within two months.
The local branch of the PSOE Socialist party has filed around 400 of these claims, stating that the PP has introduced “whimsical” modifications.
Ultimately the plan will have to be passed by the Junta de Andalucía.
