Miquel Barceló's 'African works' are on show until February 15th.
The number of people visiting the Contemporary Art Centre (CAC), situated in Calle Alemania in Malaga city, shot up in 2008 to 657,271, an increase of 137% on 2007.
The high figures are thanks to the popular Sorolla exhibition as well as the collection by Miquel Barceló which is still on display.
The CAC has become the most visited art centre in Andalucía, however the fact that admission is free influences the entrance figures.
Open Tuesday to Sunday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
