Batman also took part in the Malaga parade. / SALVADOR SALAS
On the eve of Three Kings Day on January 6th the Three Kings themselves came all the way from the east to the province of Malaga for the 'cabalgata' parades which are traditionally held in most towns and villages.

In Malaga city the streets were crowded with children eager to see the Kings who leave them presents on Three Kings morning and catch some of the 20,000 kg of sweets thrown from the floats. At 5.30 p.m. the Kings and their entourage set off from the City Hall and started to make their way along the Paseo del Parque towards Calle Larios and the streets of the old quarter. Beforehand the Mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, received the Kings at the City Hall and they then went up to the balcony to greet the crowds below.
