Christmas lights switched on at El Corte Inglés in Malaga

Shoppers take a look at the lights.

The switching on of the Christmas lights on the façade of the El Corte Inglés department store in Malaga on Friday officially marks the start of the holiday season. This year, not only do the lights have a different design, but they are also musical and more environmentally friendly, consuming 45 per cent less energy than last year's bulbs.
