Playing in pairs.
The senior resort Sanyres Puerto Banús held their first International Bridge Tournament on Monday, November, 3rd in their facilities.
Experienced players from different bridge clubs based on the coast and the group of Sanyres residents were warmly welcomed by the director of the centre, Ana Belén Lara Sanchez and the Public Relations Manager Martina Meister. The 12 couples played with a lot of enthusiasm for nearly four hours and they were well looked after with coffee, cake and drinks served by Sanyres.
The idea for the event came from Mrs. Jeanne Krohn who is running bridge sessions twice a week in Sanyres Puerto Banús. “The idea is to invite more foreign residents to our weekly sessions and at the same time show them what we are doing in our senior resort. We are going to plan another event for next year in aid of charity with many more guests!” said Martina Meister.
The winners were awarded with certificates, Champagne and pralines.
