After being granted the Spanish prison system’s third grade category, the former Mayor of Marbella Julián Muñoz has found a job which means he only has to go back to his cell to sleep from Monday to Friday.
According to the contract handed in to the prison authorities Muñoz has been taken on as a sales representative, apparently with a relative’s wine firm. The former mayor will also have to prove that he is actually working by producing a regular pay slip (or sales invoices if self-employed).
Under his new regime Muñoz is allowed to spend the weekends at home, but he must not leave the province of Malaga without special permission.
